“Why is your company called ‘I AM’ Bar?” I have been asked this question many times, and I have given it much thought. My answer is simple… the power of positive thinking. The mind is our most powerful asset, and it’s time to have it start working for us!
One component of the human brain that is often neglected and misunderstood is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind acts as our personal super-computer, storing every thought, memory, and image it has ever seen.
The subconscious mind has no filter; it does not have the ability to say yes or no to anything, it can only say, “Okay, I’ll remember that.” Great minds and leaders throughout the course of history have known this fact, and they have used the power of their subconscious minds to reach their ultimate potential.

What Einstein knew was any thought he repeated over and over again would begin to mold his subconscious mind, and then, his subconscious mind would begin to mold him.
So, if we know that the way we think shapes who we are, then why would we neglect the mental aspects of trying to improve our health or our body image? As we learned from Einstein, we cannot change the person we are without first changing the way we think. Therefore, if you want to lose weight, burn fat, and finally have the body you have always dreamed of, you first have to believe that it is possible.

If a person is struggling with weight issues and has a poor body image, he or she might think that it is impossible to ever look or feel any different. But remember, if you think attaining a better body is impossible, your subconscious mind says, “Okay, I’ll remember that.” Likewise, if you think that your dream body is possible and you’re on your way to achieving it, your subconscious mind says, “Ok, I’ll remember that,” and begins to shape you into the person you want to be.
When you make your goal attaining your dream body, there are only three possible outcomes: you get what you want, you stop trying, or you run out of time. If you want to lose twenty pounds by tomorrow, you're probably going to run out of time before you can achieve that goal. Sorry! Just keeping it real! But as long as you keep trying, over and over again without losing faith, you will achieve your goal, period. There is no need to concern yourself with how it is going to happen. There is no need to concern yourself with when it is going to happen. All that matters is whether or not you believe it is going to happen.
